Blood splattered everywhere,
Flesh tattered and shredded,
The stench of unbearable death,
A visual---by all---dreaded.

On the lowly laid carcass,
The vultures have come to feast,
And it's become difficult to tell,
If the meal were a human or beast.

The heart--- void of love
The eyes are void of emotion,
The life is being finally sucked out,
Of the living- breathing carbuncle

The memories in the mind,
And the dried blood stains,
The few last reluctant breaths,
Are the things that now remain.

With the last moments of life
Still lingering in sadist laughter
The only truth prevailing is that...
An acquaintance was the murderer!
